Groovy Buttonholes

As you may have grasped, I love the idea of men wearing flowers and the whole be-a-bit-imaginative-with-your-buttonhole thing. One of last week’s grooms wanted these. Excuse the immodesty, but they were gorgeous!

If i did them this is exactly how i would like to do them! Love the twine. I am too much of a scaredy cat to do wedding flowers, would be in terror of any buttonhole drooping, how do you stand it?!! Flowers out of water give me the willies!!! Respect for the beautiful way you design yours.x

Aw, thank you, Belinda. You get to know what lasts out of water and what to stay clear of (and why people stuck with roses and carnations for so long!) – although I am with Miss Pickering about longevity in buttonholes being overrated (http://bit.ly/pmLTfi). As long as they look good on the photos, that’s enough. After that, take your jacket off, man – relax! Jx
